Affiliation & Syllabi:
As the college is registered & affiliated from the Board Of Intermediate & Secondary Education Mirpur, so college follows the courses and syllabi prescribed by B.I.S.E Mirpur,Azad Kashmir.
The progress reports of the students are sent to the parents/guardians on the periodical basis.

LOCATION:
The college is situated in a calm location of lower Chatter, away from the hussle-bussle of the city. On itĀ’s way towards college, one finds the buildings of High Court, Supreme Court and AJ&K Legislative assembly on the left-hand side of the road in the same locality. These learned institutions are always a source of intellectual inspiration for the students.

FULL DAY COLLEGE:
Innovative concept of full-day college(from 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM) activities to satiate the students so that NO EXTRA TUTION IS NEEDED.

AWARDS:
Cash prizes of Rs.30, 000/-, Rs.25, 000/-, Rs.20, 00/- are allocated for college students obtaining first,
Second and third position, respectively, in the board exams.
However, if the college obtains no position in the board exams, then, a prize of Rs.15, 000/- will be awarded to the student securing First position in the college.

LIBRARY FACILITY:
Though, the college has itĀ’s own library, yet the students would have free access to KHURSHID NATIONAL
LIBRARY, Jalalabad on behalf of institution as and when required.

LABORATORIES:
The well Ā–maintained and adequately stocked labs are available in the college.
Computer lab is also available which has Pentium-2 computers,connected together via LAN & to the whole world via internet.

FACILITY OF INTERNET:
The facility of the internet is provided to all the students & and staff members with in the computer lab of the Oriental Science College.

COMPUTER CERTIFICATE COURSES FOR NON-ICS(COMPUTER SCIENCE) STUDENTS:
College also provides the facility of short computer courses for the students who donot study compuer sciences.ie. the students belonging to pre-medical,pre-eng.,commerce & general science groups.

AUDIO-VISUAL TEACHING:
Audiovisual teaching is one of the methodologies adapted on all disciplines.Computers are also used for this purpose.

TEACHER PARENTS MEATING:
ParentĀ’s day is a regular feature of college activities and is held on 24 of October.

MEDICAL COVER:
If the medical consultancy is required, the students will pay nominal charges to a well-reputed and renowned
Physician of the town.In the case of emergency,college has immediate acces to the city hospital.

CONVEYANCE:
The college provides pick and drop facility to the students on their request.College has it`s own BUS & VAN.

HOSTEL:
College also has well maintained hostel to facilitate the students.

TUCK SHOP:
The college has itĀ’s own tuck shop from where students can take lunch at noon and other refreshments like cold drinks, tea, snacks, chips etc.<
